清末，“闽南技艺团”团主刘炮在率团为慈禧太后的宝贝公主白雪格格的大婚典礼做庆贺演出时，被欲报父仇的洪坤利用，卷入一场暗杀慈禧的阴谋。刘炮为求脱身而掳走了白雪格格，在逃亡途中二人暗生情愫。白雪决定陪刘炮赴台追查洪坤的下落，不想到台湾后即无意间卷入了七崁之间的矛盾纷争……
