يحكي الفيلم عن رجل نزح من الريف إلى القاهرة ومعه أحلامه الخاصة بالنسبة لأبناءه. ويقوم بتنشئتهم بحيث يختار لكل واحد منهم مستقبلًا مهنيًا معينًا، ولكن يصدم عندما يكبر الأبناء بأن كل واحد منهم لديه توجهاته الخاصة.
