A lot of the films he’s written draw inspiration from his own life experiences, as he feels that telling his own stories makes them resonate more. When inquired about his preferred genre of filmmaking, he consistently expresses a fondness for films that are both simple and profound. He appreciates narratives that are not overtly explicit, yet do not linger in the minds of the audience once the credits roll.
