Intissar began her creative journey with embroidery, a craft passed down through generations of women in her family, which enabled her to address contemporary issues through an inherited tradition. Simultaneously, she engaged with moving images, initially using this medium to explore her gender and social status within her community. As her practice evolved, Intissar shifted her focus from personal to collective themes.
