Jess is a comedy-drama writer, with several original TV and film scripts in active development, including features with Working Title and Mews Films. Jess was selected as one of seven "next generation showrunners" in Chris Chibnall's inaugural Next Generation Showrunner Programme. She recently led a room for Roughcut and regularly works in writers' rooms.Also a short film director, Jess has recently wrapped on directing her late short, starring Edward Bluemel and Mary Beth Barone.
