His latest project, ¡Que Colombianada!, continues to showcase his dedication to storytelling and his Colombian heritage. In 2024, Vargas co-founded the Hispanic Heritage Film Festival, which held its inaugural event in Miami, celebrating and amplifying Hispanic voices in film.
