Sanjeev Rajsingh Parmar (born November 20, 1973) is an Indian film director, producer, costume designer, and poet, best known for his directorial debut, Chambal Paar (2026), which received widespread acclaim and was showcased at several prestigious national and international film festivals. Alongside filmmaking, Sanjeev is a published poet and songwriter in Hindi, Urdu, and Brij. He has authored a poetry collection titled Kash and wrote the title song “Chalat Chalat” for Chambal Paar. He actively works to promote the Brij language through literature and cinema and has a deep passion for Bollywood music and lyrical traditions. Beyond cinema, he manages his ancestral farm in Dholpur, Rajasthan, and is committed to environmental conservation and tree planting. Born in Bikaner, Rajasthan, Sanjeev completed his graduation in Dholpur, Rajasthan, and later earned a Diploma in Fashion Designing from JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Jaipur. He began his professional film career in Mumbai, where he established himself as a respected creative force across costume design, direction, and production. His Filmmaking explores the cultural and social fabric of the Chambal region and Braj Language, marking a major milestone in his transition from costume design to filmmaking. Produced under his banner, Barjori Motion Pictures, Chambal Paar reflects his commitment to regionally rooted and culturally authentic cinema.
