Fresh TV series have garnered many awards and nominations including Gemini, Emmy and the Shaw Rocket Prize. My Babysitter's a Vampire was an instant smash hit on Disney Channel in the United States in 2011, ranking number one in its time slot among kids two-11. The TV movie of the same name garnered nominations for several awards including the prestigious Shaw Rocket Prize as well as a Gemini Award nomination for Best Dramatic Mini-Series or TV Movie among others.
