Joshwa is an Atlanta-based filmmaker who was born in southwestern Ohio and raised all over the tropics. To sum up a rather long story: his first job was teaching art inside of a lighthouse, he pursued medicine at the University of Florida before earning a degree in English Literature, he dabbled in the saxophone, and he's never won a game of miniature golf.Joshwa is an Atlanta-based filmmaker who was born in southwestern Ohio and raised all over the tropics. After graduating with the 30th MFA production class from Florida State's Film Conservatory, he now works on film -- primarily in post. He is best known for his work on: Landless (2019), A Separation (2019), and The Bronsteadë Twins (2020). At home, Joshwa continues to follow his other passion of writing for the screen.
