Born in Hong Kong, Kit received her MFA from Columbia University's Graduate Film Program. Her screenplay A Breath Away was selected for the Sundance Writer's Lab and Director's Lab, the Cannes Film Festival Cinéfondation Residency, and the Hong Kong Asian Film Financial Forum (HAF). In 2005, she was selected to participate in the Berlinale Talent Campus and was the finalist for the Berlinale Co-Production Market. Her previous short film, A Rainy Day, won the top prize at the China-American Film Festival and the Best Cinematography award at the International Student Film Festival at Buenos Aires. Fog, a recipient of the Sundance Annenberg Grant, marks Kit Hui's debut as a feature film director.Show more
