Writer/cinematographer/director/etc Sander Maran began making short films in high school with friends and attended the Baltic Film and Media School. That led to Maran’s debut feature film Chainsaws Were Singing, a crazy genre-mixing epic that was shot guerilla-style in 2013 with co-producers Kaur Maran, Jan Andresson and Karl-Joosep Ilves. The film spent a whopping 10 years in postproduction and was finally finished in 2024.Show more
