She directed the documentary 'Rebel Music: Turkey' for MTV World. Her second feature 'When I'm Done Dying' won several awards including 'Best Director' at Tallinn and 'Best Film' at Santa Barbara. The film is picked up by Magnolia Pictures. Nisan's films are supported by institutions and funds such as Eurimages, Berlinale and Hamburg Film Fund. Nisan directed for the Netflix series 'Midnight at the Pera Palace' and recently directed for 'The Turkish Detective', which is produced by Miramax and distributed by Paramount.Show more
