His short films, documentaries as well as his feature debut Another One Opens (2013) have had over 200 festival screenings worldwide and won several awards. Notably, his documentary short Cannes - Through the Eyes of the Hunter (2001) which won a Royal Television Society Southern Centre Award, as well as his comedy short Würstelstand (2004) which won the Ulrich Schiegg Award.
