His films have screened at numerous festivals including Berlinale, Locarno, Visions du Réel, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and DOK Leipzig. His current works co-directed with Mila Zhluktenko include Aralkum (Juryprize Visions du Réel) and waking up in silence (Juryprize Berlinale Generation KPlus).
