Arantxa Aguirre Carballeira (Madrid, 1965) is a Spanish documentary director, screenwriter, and writer. The daughter of actress Enriqueta Carballeira and film director Javier Aguirre, she has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in film, working as an assistant director for filmmakers such as Mario Camus, Pedro Almodóvar, Carlos Saura, and Luis García Berlanga, among others.Arantxa Aguirre Carballeira (Madrid, 1965) is a Spanish documentary director, screenwriter, and writer.
