She achieved international prominence playing the role of journalist Katrine Fønsmark in the political drama series Borgen (2010–2022). In cinema, she portrayed the artist Marie Krøyer in the biographical film Marie Krøyer (Balladen om Marie Krøyer, 2012) and held roles in international productions such as Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) and Automata (Autómata, 2014).
