Aron Eisenberg (January 6, 1969 – September 21, 2019) was an American actor and podcaster best known for his role as Nog, the Ferengi, on the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where he appeared for all seven seasons. Besides Deep Space Nine, he appeared in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager and reprised Nog’s voice in Star Trek Online. Outside of acting, Eisenberg was also a talented photographer and stage director, performing in and directing plays. He was also a passionate advocate for organ donation, having received multiple kidney transplants himself. Eisenberg was married to Malissa Longo and had two children.
