He is the second of five siblings and pursued a degree in Law at Monywa University before fully committing to his career in entertainment. He began his professional career in 2014 after joining John Lwin's Stars Int'l Models Agency. He quickly found success in modeling, winning the male model contest Mr. ASNI 2014. His modeling work included numerous commercial shows, runways, and appearances in TV commercials, which ultimately led to acting offers. Nyein Thaw made a notable acting debut in the 2017 thriller film Nya (Night). The film was screened in Myanmar cinemas and became one of the country's highest-grossing films that year, earning him positive reviews and widespread recognition. Following his film success, he transitioned into television roles, appearing in both mini web series and full-length dramas: The Family Diary (2018), a mini web series produced by Samsung Myanmar. Yin Kwin Shin Tann (2019), a romantic drama series where he held a main role. Ah Saung (2019), a lead role in the thriller drama series. In 2020, he was cast in the drama films Hnin Pwint Say Yar and Oo Tu Mhar Tae Saung.
