While the song garnered attention, her debut single did not sell well and her planned second single for June was shelved. She wrote the lyrics for the song herself. Following this, she joined the Sakura Club Sakura Group and changed her name to Makoto Kurosawa. After the end of Sakura Club, she changed her name once again to Aika Misa and pursued a career as a sexy genre actress. During the same period, she crossed paths with idol Asami Inoue, who was a senior in the junior high school's art club.
