Bolter was also the original anchor of Fox 5 News at 5, with Tracey Neale. As a reporter, he won two local Emmy Awards for his work. In 2013, Bolter left WTTG to work as a restaurateur with his wife, Lisa. The couple owns a restaurant called the Red Red Wine Bar in Annapolis, Maryland.
