Paul broke into acting in 2018 with a comedic skit called "Paul Robbed McDonalds", and started the Paul's Wonderful Circus franchise later that year. Paul cites Wes Craven and Alfred Hitchcock as his main writing influences, and Willem Dafoe, Joaquin Phoenix, and Kane Hodder as his primary acting influences.
