He is the younger brother of well-known actress May Myint Mo. Shinn Myat began his journey in the entertainment industry in 2013. His initial exposure was highly notable, as he was selected as an "Academy Shwekyo," responsible for carrying the Academy Award statue tray during the Myanmar Academy Awards Ceremony that year. Following this, he transitioned into modeling before being cast in television dramas in 2017. Shinn Myat's acting career was launched through MRTV-4 drama series, where he often secured main roles early on. Shwe Kyar Phoo Thit (ရွှေကြာဖူးသစ်) (2018) marked his official acting debut in a main role, airing in February 2018.
