In 2011, Sharanin started his TV career as a host of the "Good Morning" show (section "Useful Tips") on Channel One Russia (Perviy Kanal). He is also a singer and has showcased his improvisational acting skills at the Moscow Theater of Literary Improvisation from 2011 to 2012. Aleksei has appeared in various music videos, including "Bluff" by the band "Bi-2". In 2013, he played in sketch comedies "Zaytsev Sisters: Welcome to Russia" by Grigory Gasparian and in "Oskolkovo 2" by Roman Doronin. Aleksei Sharanin became a member of the Guild of Russian Film Actors in 2021 and, in 2023, joined the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
