He appeared as kapellmästare, storyteller, and musician in Stockholm Park Theatre’s production of Kåldolmar & kalsipper (2013–2014), and wrote all the music for the family concert adaptation Barnen från Frostmofjället. In 2020 he released his first solo album Vuxna barn, showcasing his wide-ranging influences from Swedish prog and indie to world music styles. As a performer, Brobacke is celebrated for his spirited trombone playing and charismatic stage presence.
