During the 2016 Rose Bowl against Iowa, he became the first player in Rose Bowl history to surpass 100 yards both rushing (172) and receiving (109) while setting a bowl record with 368 all-purpose yards. The Carolina Panthers selected McCaffrey eighth overall in the 2017 NFL draft.
