Wallace Smith got his Broadway break playing the lead role of Simba in “Disney’s Lion King”, almost immediately afterward landing roles in “Ragtime” and “American Idiot”. Smith is (currently) playing “Hercules Mulligan/James Madison” in the Broadway company of HAMILTON after performing the role in the original Chicago Company (2016).
