Mallone attended Houston's Lamar High School, where she was a cheerleader, competed on the swim team, was a member of the French Club, and even worked as both a producer and on-air reporter for the student TV news channel. Meggan was a successful mainstream fashion model prior to her involvement with the adult entertainment industry. She was discovered on MySpace by adult photographer Jason Self in September, 2007. Mallone did a test photo shoot with Self which secured her three covers with Met-Art magazine. (She's also graced the covers of both Hustler and AVN Magazine.) Meggan signed an exclusive one year contract with Vivid at an adult industry trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada in January, 2008. Mallone was nominated for an AVN Award for Best New Starlet in 2009.
