She landed her first television role in 2016, appearing in several episodes of the series *Club der roten Bänder*, in which she portrayed the character Sara Winter. In 2018, appearances in the series *Sankt Maik* followed, as well as a supporting role in the feature film *Ein Anderer*. Maxeiner gained wider recognition in 2019 with the lead role in the theatrical film *Rocca verändert die Welt*, in which she played the titular character, Rocca.
