Ralf Dormann grew up in Castrop-Rauxel as the son of a factory manager and a housewife and attended the Max-Born-Realschule there. In the same year, he worked for the film producer Teresa Orlowski. This was followed by work as an actor for the companies Marc Dorcel, Hans Moser, Dolly Buster, Videorama, MMV, Goldlight Film, Carol Lynn and Orion. From 1988, he appeared in the industry as an independent producer. In the following two decades, he produced numerous porn films for German companies.
