After struggling in several NWA and OVW competitions in the Kentucky and Tennessee regions, Darling continued to hold SHINE matches in Florida. , NWA Florida Underground Wrestling (FUW) and Southern Wrestling Championship. Shine Wrestling debut (2013) Darling debuted for SHINE Wrestling on SHINE 9 on April 19, losing to Rhia O'Reilly in a three-way match in which Britney Savage participated. Darling later joined Nikki Rocks and Duffney to form the Daffney All-Star squad on SHINE 11, but Darling won’t get her first Shine victory until SHINE 14 on October 25, when she defeated Soo Young.
