She started out with Photoshoots, Pageants, roadshows and hosting, eventually clinching the Winning title of Fan Favorite in FHM Top Model's search in 2013. Cynthia then ventured into acting and got her 1st role as as a supporting cast in a local film - The Lion Men (aired 2013). Cynthia is also actively involved on youtube and she works with a couple of Youtubers. One of the Youtube channel includes CheokBoard Studios, which has over 221k subscribers. One of her key interests includes Singing, where Cynthia had 1-1 lessons on a weekly basis for close to 2 years.
