Edmond Tamiz (1923–1999) was a French actor and stage director, born in Paris and trained under Charles Dullin. From the 1960s onward, he established himself as a director at the Théâtre Récamier, staging works such as Arlequin valet de deux maîtres and Jacques le fataliste. He played a key role in bringing Carlo Goldoni back to the forefront of French popular theatre. Tamiz then continued an active career in regional theatres, directing both classical and contemporary plays.
