As the drama rose and fell, Novak remained silent, only sitting for one interview with Vulture magazine, in which he pleaded readers to not visit him at his job at Disneyland California. On the one year anniversary of "I Wanna Be the Next SNL Cast Member!", he returned, jokingly mixing his address to the viewer with a spam call he was making to a client.
