Gunawan Maryanto (April 10, 1976 – October 6, 2021) was an Indonesian actor, writer, and theater director. Gunawan Maryanto had performed his works in various countries, received an arts grant from the Kelola Foundation, and won several competitions. In 2017, Gunawan Maryanto won the Best Leading Actor award at the Usmar Ismail Awards for his role as Widji Thukul in the film Istirahatlah Kata-kata (Solo, Solitude). In 2020, he won the Citra Award for Best Leading Actor for his role as Siman in the film Hiruk-Pikuk si Al-Kisah (The Science of Fictions).Show more
