She enjoys creating colourful and abstract art, displaying a collection of original artwork internationally, including at Hotel SAV Hong Kong. In Germany she gained recognition for her role as leading actress in the 2009 record breaking box office hit Wickie und die starken Männer , and garnered international acclaim for her role in the TVB series Brothers Keepers. Ankie has over 30 films and dramas to her credit since 2000, attracting large audiences and critics attention. Besides her acting career, Ankie is also a top model and a certified yoga instructor with yoga instructional DVD launched in 2011.
