She later joined the Nifu Eiga Film Company and made her debut as an actress in the movie "Ginrei Fuji ni Yomigaeru" in 1933. Her performance caught the attention of the industry, and she adopted the stage name Atsuko Ichinomiya. In 1934, Atsuko became a research student at the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater, which led her to further opportunities in both theater and film. She appeared in various films and plays, establishing herself as a notable actress. Atsuko Ichinomiya continued to act in both films and television dramas, becoming a well-respected character actor known for her versatile performances.
