In 1998, she directed her first film about the miners of La Mure, Debout dans ce siècle anthracite (Standing in this anthracite century). She then developed a passion for Friuli, where she directed a series of documentaries, the most recent of which, Les oubliés du Transsibérien (The Forgotten of the Trans-Siberian), was released in 2017.
