Development is continuous for Suzann as she moves from theatre to television and film; her range of special-guest appearances on some of the UK's best shows such as Dr. Who continues to grow reinforcing Suzann's presence on the UK screen. Suzann McLean is the winner of the African Film Awards for Best Actress 2011. She was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2023 King's BIrthday Honours List for her services to the Arts and to Marginalized Young People in London.
