Merited Artist Nguyễn Tố Uyên (born 19th July 1948 in Hanoi) is a Vietnamese dancer, actress, poet and writer. A ballet dancer by trade, she is best known for her role as Nga in "The Passerine Bird"(Con chim vành khuyên) by director Nguyễn Văn Thông in 1962 and a series of other supporting roles in many critically acclaimed classics like "The Holy Day"(Ngày lễ thánh) and "Rising Storm"(Nổi gió).Merited Artist Nguyễn Tố Uyên (born 19th July 1948 in Hanoi) is a Vietnamese dancer, actress, poet and writer. From 1985, Tố Uyên stopped working in films except for a few small roles in soap operas along with doing voiceovers or editing to support her family and instead began writing professionally; by 1999, she had published over 25 poems and a poetry book. Outside of her career, she is also known for a tumultuous marriage and the resulting scandalous divorce with her first husband Lưu Quang Vũ.Show more
