Johanne Louise Schmidt (born 16 October 1983 in Skanderborg) is a Danish actress. She achieved cinematic prominence by portraying the recurring role of Rose, the assistant in Department Q, in the film adaptations of Jussi Adler-Olsen's crime novels: The Absent One (Fasandræberne, 2014), A Conspiracy of Faith (Flaskepost fra P, 2016), and The Purity of Vengeance (Journal 64, 2018). On television, she notably appeared in the drama series DNA (2019) and Min kamp (2021). She continues her film career with roles in The Exception (Undtagelsen, 2020), Bamse (2022), and Beginnings (Begyndelser, 2026).
