From 1999 to 2001 he studied under Yoshihiro Kurita, a stage director who was involved in Kurita Garage (AUN Theater Company). Until 2004 he was mainly active in stage. After that, he has been involved in a wide range of fields such as film, television, dubbing, and narration. He speaks the Miyazaki dialect. His hobbies are baseball, fishing, golf, cycling, motorcycles, muscle training, and computers.
