As an adult, Reichel established himself primarily in crime dramas and television productions, appearing regularly in series such as *Tatort*, *Polizeiruf 110*, *Der Alte*, *Ein Fall für zwei*, *SOKO München*, and *Balko*. He gained wider recognition for his role as Commissioner Michael Zorowski in the Berlin-based *Tatort* series, starring alongside Winfried Glatzeder.
