Jennifer Sevilla started as a model for advertisements at a young age. In 1987, she became part of GMA Network's entertainment programme "That's Entertainment". In the 1990s, she again starred in various films, including "Mundo Man ay Magunaw" (1990), "Muling Umawit ang Puso" (1995), and "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay" (1998). She also starred in television programs including ABS-CBN's satire sitcom "Abangan ang Susunod na Kabanata" (1991–97) and PTV/RPN's "Tierra Sangre" (1996).
