She started modeling in her mid-teens. Helm made her film debut with a small role in Hard to Hold (1984). She had her sole starring part as "Kate Haskell" in The Zoo Gang (1985). Tiffany portrayed "Violet" in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985). Helm also portrayed innocent juvenile delinquent "Andrea Eldridge" in the babes-behind-bars parody Reform School Girls (1986). Moreover, Tiffany made guest appearances on such TV shows as Freddy's Nightmares (1988), 21 Jump Street (1987), You Again? (1986), Santa Barbara (1984), The Young and the Restless (1973), Bare Essence (1983) and Likely Stories, Vol. 3 (1983).
